    To enhance the mechanical strength of the cables, some elevator cables are also equipped with high-strength galvanized steel wires as reinforcements. This significantly improves tensile strength and durability, ensuring that the cables remain intact during frequent movement.


    Types and Application Environments of Elevator Electrical Cables


    Elevator electrical cables are mainly categorized into flat and ribbon types. Ribbon cables (such as TVVB type) are commonly used as traveling cables to accommodate the up-and-down movement of the elevator cabin. Flat cables are more often used for specific applications, such as video signal transmission. The rated voltage of these cables is typically 300/500V, with a test voltage of 2500V, and they operate within a temperature range of -15°C to 70°C, making them suitable for diverse working environments.


    During installation, it is essential to avoid exposing elevator cables to direct sunlight, high temperatures, fire sources, and corrosive substances. Regular inspections and maintenance should also be carried out to ensure the stability of the cable's performance and to extend its service life.
